Climate Technology (ClimateTech)

The Global Tech Awards for Climate Technology (ClimateTech) recognizes and rewards innovative solutions that are contributing to a sustainable future and addressing the challenges posed by climate change. To be eligible for the ClimateTech award, nominees must demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Relevance: The solution must be directly related to addressing climate change and its impacts, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, or promoting the use of renewable energy.

  • Impact: The solution must have a significant and measurable impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, or promoting the use of renewable energy.

  • Innovation: The solution must demonstrate novel and innovative approaches to addressing climate change, incorporating new technologies or business models to achieve sustainability goals.

  • Feasibility: The solution must be viable and scalable, with potential for widespread adoption and implementation.

  • Collaboration: The solution must demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and partnerships, working with stakeholders across the public and private sectors to promote sustainability and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

  • Sustainability: The solution must have a positive impact on the environment and promote sustainable development, reducing its carbon footprint and preserving natural resources for future generations.

  • Communication: The solution must be effectively communicated, with clear and concise information about its benefits, impact, and implementation.

The judges will also consider other factors such as the nominee's overall impact on the Climate Technology (ClimateTech) industry, the level of creativity and originality of the solution, and the nominee's ability to overcome technical and market challenges. All decisions of the judges are final.
