What motivated your company to participate in the Global Tech Awards?

We saw the Global Tech Awards as a prestigious opportunity to call attention to our continued dedication to elevating event experiences for audiences worldwide. As the only technology and service provider with over 25 years of experience in producing engaging virtual and hybrid events, we ultimately seized this award opportunity to showcase our platform’s innovative offerings and capabilities such as live interpretations, language captions, powerful branding options, and more. With GlobalMeet, large enterprises and businesses are creating memorable and engaging event experiences for unique use cases, fostering communication among large, global audiences that otherwise wouldn’t have this opportunity. The ability to highlight this achievement is something we couldn’t pass up. 

Could you share an overview of the project or innovation your company submitted?

How has your team worked together to bring this innovation to life?

We listen to our customers. At GlobalMeet, our ultimate goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and their audiences. Over the last year, we’ve brought significant updates to the platform, including a brand new look and feel with a contemporary design, new AI capabilities, CPE training offerings, and more. Through this, we’re creating unmatched interconnectivity within our audiences that fosters communication. The GlobalMeet platform remains user-friendly and intuitive, highlighting our innovative advancements that transform event experiences from merely effective to truly unforgettable.

What impact do you anticipate your innovation will have on the tech industry or society at large?

Event technology is constantly evolving. With a large portion of the workforce still working in digital spaces, our goal is to make these experiences more engaging and enjoyable. GlobalMeet’s unrivaled customization allows clients to personalize every detail of their event from pre-event to post-event activities, including registration pages, event portals, and the visual design of the event to maintain a consistent branding experience. Our uniquely tailored and customer-centric approach will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in virtual and hybrid event settings, shifting the industry into a new era.

Are there any specific challenges you faced during the development process, and how did you overcome them?

GlobalMeet develops using an agile methodology that incorporates the voice of the customer while also addressing recurring tech support incidents to optimize ease of use. Since our customers and target new customers are large public companies with global operations, we design for scalability and reliability. As with any global customer base, the challenge is prioritizing new capabilities that apply worldwide vs. only in a specific geography. 

How does your company foster a culture of innovation?

We foster a culture of innovation by constantly recognizing and encouraging curiosity that results in new capabilities or increased efficiencies. Research and development is incentivized through all our patent filings.

 

What advice would you give to other companies striving to make an impact in the tech space?

GlobalMeet has learned how to make global webcasts, webinars, training, and virtual and hybrid events easier to execute at scale with reliability proven for decades. Making a significant impact in the tech space means focusing on the business outcomes that your technology enables in a way that improves efficiency, lowers costs, and empowers new ways of doing business.

What are your company’s future goals, and how do you plan to drive advancements in your industry?

GlobalMeet is focused on AI and its near-term applications to automate captioning, translation, and transcription. In the long term, GlobalMeet will enable the world’s largest companies to build corporate streaming engines that structure the unstructured data of audio and video recordings. Therefore, business intelligence results include clips of audio and video along with traditional documents and spreadsheets.

 

Are there any emerging technologies or trends your company is particularly excited about?

We’re constantly innovating and updating our features to drive the industry forward and we’re particularly excited about an upcoming feature that will be released in the coming months. This new feature will improve our GlobalMeet interface for advanced users by elevating the host and user processes and give more control to event organizers over their audiences’ experiences. From added capabilities in the presenter and media layout to enhanced presenter management tools, this advancement will further distinguish us from other technology providers in the event space.
