What motivated your company to participate in the Global Tech Awards?

 We entered the Global Tech Awards with the hope of garnering further acknowledgement as a leader in real-time data streaming – an increasingly important area of technology as AI continues to proliferate and be deployed in new ways. We’re very proud of how Lenses partners with the largest enterprises in the world to help them modernize their businesses for real-time. Winning this award is a great validation of our vision to make data streaming simple.

Could you share an overview of the project or innovation your company submitted?

Lenses 6.0 is the industry’s first true AI-assisted data streaming engineering developer experience solution, designed to simplify how organizations can build and operate real-time systems and AI. This approach shifts the paradigm from technology-centric management to engineering autonomy, making complex streaming data environments exceptionally simple for teams to build real-time systems – a capability vital for feeding the growing consumer demand for having responsive services and real-time information. This approach allows businesses to have fully automated AI systems up and down their business that respond to real-time information - improving customer experiences, automating business processes and responding to security threats.

How has your team worked together to bring this innovation to life?

Developing and bringing Lenses 6.0 to life was a big undertaking while working with some of the largest organizations in the world, in addition to our customers, who are now looking to fully automate their business by feeding AI with real-time information. This included understanding and addressing some of the biggest challenges with adopting AI including data regulation and security.

What impact do you anticipate your innovation will have on the tech industry or society at large?

We hope to see Lenses 6.0 continue democratizing access to real-time data, allowing developers, regardless of skill level, to autonomously build highly responsive applications & business systems. With AI agents becoming mainstream, there should be no barriers in connecting agents with real-time data to enable them to fetch and communicate real-time information to other agents and systems. We believe this will allow businesses to build real-time services of the future that will ultimately change how we, end consumers, interact with data and services.

Are there any specific challenges you faced during the development process, and how did you overcome them?

The challenge was compounded by a market that changed seemingly every three months that few could have ever imagined, with real-time data becoming the fastest growing source of data within a business while engineering teams transitioned to infrastructures that build and operate the AI systems that respond to this data! So the Lenses 6.0 product had to help not only human engineers to deal with the sheer scale and complexity of managing real-time data but also the AI infrastructures themselves.

How does your company foster a culture of innovation?

 At Lenses, we have the motto "the comfort zone is uncomfortable," pushing ourselves to test bold ideas rather than settling for what’s safe and easy. We foster a culture of engineers that are also responsible for product design, drastically shortening the time between an idea being on a whiteboard to it being in front of our customers. Employees of all roles at Lenses directly engage with our customers as well. We’ve always emphasized the integration of our employees within critical business operations in addition to representing the Lenses brand at trade shows. This approach ensures we remain at the forefront of the streaming industry, consistently delivering solutions that help our customers deliver the experiences end consumers expect.

What advice would you give to other companies striving to make an impact in the tech space?

Regarding company culture, our advice is to focus relentlessly on harnessing the unique diverse talent of everyone in a business. An organization’s digital tooling should also empower users to be autonomous rather than making them dependent on processes. Companies should not be afraid of re-architecting or pivoting if it means delivering products that their customers need. The product will be only as valid for the market as it supports customers to address the challenges they currently have.

What are your company’s future goals, and how do you plan to drive advancements in your industry?

We want to help organizations augment the human potential of all their employees by providing autonomous access to real-time data. This is essential to unlock a speed of innovation that’s ahead of the competition. We will continue to deliver AI features that allow users to more easily tap into every single data stream their business operates on.

Are there any emerging technologies or trends your company is particularly excited about?

We are particularly excited about the fast advancements of the wider AI Agentic frameworks and systems that businesses are adopting, such as AWS Bedrock and AgentCore, that can now more easily connect and collaborate to the AI capabilities and agents that we ourselves are building within our products.
