What inspired you to participate in the Global Tech Awards? 

I submitted PetPace for a Global Tech award because they truly are a global leader in the pet wearable space and had just won two awards, including the PC Mag Excellence award. They are the only collar that can deliver this level of breadth and scope of data in the world due to the technology embedded in the collar. 

Can you share a brief overview of the project or innovation you submitted?

The PetPace collar is an award winning state-of-the-art wearable health-monitoring technology designed specifically for pets. This revolutionary collar seamlessly integrates sophisticated algorithms, machine learning and advanced analytics to collect real-time vitals and biometrics, including heart rate variability, respiratory rate, temperature, activity levels, and more. PetPace delivers unparalleled insights into your pet's health, enabling early detection of potential issues and personalized care. PetPace is redefining how pet health is monitored and managed, empowering pet owners and veterinarians with actionable insights to ensure the well-being of their furry companions. It is a game changer for Telehealth consultations. 

What impact do you hope your innovation will have on the tech industry or society at large?

We already know that AI/ML are transforming human health monitoring and we see the same trend happening now in the Pet Care space with wearables such as PetPace that are truly changing the way we care for our pets. Certainly we see explosive growth in the TeleMedicine and Telehealth space and having this full range of data that's really Tele Triage at the vets fingertips in near real time is a total game changer. We are also engaged with leading pharma companies developing new drugs and with our collar they can collect data with dogs in their natural environment. This is revolutionary and has never been done before.  

Any advice or insights for aspiring innovators and tech professionals?

It's a burgeoning area of development. We know the competitive landscape well and we anticipate that the technology will evolve over time to be even more precise and deliver even more data points. My advice would be to do your homework and know what's out there. Many companies claim to be health monitoring collars when they truly are not. They are merely activity trackers. They don't collect the breadth and scope of data that PetPace collects and they are not true health monitors. So before you get into the game, know the market well. 

What are your future goals or aspirations in the tech industry, and how do you plan to contribute to advancements in your field?

Our pipeline is loaded with innovation and brimming with technology that is advancing the field. We are already preparing to launch a Version 3.0 of the collar with some amazing features that have not been seen before. The key is to stay way ahead of the competition and our Israeli-based tech team is stellar. Can't say too much, but we are going to be first in industry in many areas. 

Are there any emerging trends or technologies that you believe will have a profound impact on the tech industry in the coming years?

Yes, we are already seeing connectivity advancements with satellites for global GPS tracking. I also see refinements of algorithms and machine learning. The more data you collect the better you are able to detect biomarkers and additional data points with increased sensitivity and specificity through analysis of the data. At PetPace, we have been collecting data on dogs for over ten years now with our technology. We know that we own the world's largest repository of data on dogs in the world. That's a real advantage over our competitors as we and our vet and research platforms can manipulate that data by weight, breed, age, and many more specs. We are excited about our future and the industry as a whole for the betterment of pet care overall. Our technology and patents extend to all mammals so you can imagine where we are headed next in the animal kingdom.
