What inspired you to participate in the Global Tech Awards?

The awards are a meaningful way to recognize the efforts our team and customers are making in advancing software quality. 

Can you share a brief overview of the project or innovation you submitted? 

We submitted two award-winning innovations: 

• • SmartBear API Hub, powered by Swagger, unifies API design, testing, and documentation in one streamlined experience. It's designed to help development teams scale confidently, reduce tool fragmentation, and deliver reliable APIs faster without sacrificing governance or quality. 

• • SmartBear HaloAI is improving software quality by automating repetitive tasks like test creation, API contract testing, and test data generation. HaloAI boosts developer productivity, while maintaining full transparency and ethical AI use. 

What impact do you hope your innovation will have on the tech industry or society at large? 

With API Hub and HaloAI, we’re empowering development teams to move fast and deliver quality, without compromise. In a world of complex systems and soaring expectations, these tools simplify workflows, reduce risk, and bring clarity to the software development lifecycle. AI is reshaping how code is written and maintained, but without a strong quality strategy, speed can lead to fragmentation and tech debt.
